E-Mail Miss.Take
E-mail: texting of the working world.
It is a little awkward if your boss walks in on you texting( or Snap Chatting, story for another day), it is not so awkward if you are caught E-mailing. It is somewhat easier to play off the E-mail to your girl friends planning a weekend to relive college in the city, as an E-mail to parent informing them that their son threw a Party Popper at your feet in the middle of your lesson. Oh, and yes, most definitely did that happen... The throwing of the popper... not the E-mail home... That would be an awkward E-mail. Anyway, adults( or adults in the making) use E-mail during the day to communicate with their working class friends( don't try E-mailing your friends who aren't in the working world. When you are done with work, they are waking up). My Friend/Co-Worker, Sarah, and I were taking a class on Autism, through our school. It was a great class, and we were both able to gain a lot of insight into the Autistic mind( everyone is a little Autistic, yes, even you).During this time there was also a lot of pregnant teachers at our school, 14 to be exact. During my off period I was searching the news, I mean grading papers, and I found a news story titled " Flu During Pregnancy, Higher Risk of Autism". Clearly, this was right on topic and perfect to bring to class tonight. Eager to share I decided to send it to my friend, Sarah. I sat there patiently, I mean grading, waiting for her to E-mail me back. Then I got an unexpected E-mail from another teacher at the school, named Sarah... but this Sarah was not in my Autism class, and she was pregnant. Confused on why she E-mailed me I immediately opened to read " What the hell! Are you trying to freak me out or something!" Yep you guessed right. I sent the 8 months pregnant teacher an article on how if she gets the flu her unborn son will be Autistic.
Just another,
- Miss. Take
